We've been working with Cove Park to provide an exciting residency for the winner of the Women's Poetry Competition!
Cove Park is a centre providing accommodation and a creative space for artists to visit, stay and create. Situated by Loch Long on Scotland's west coast, Cove Park is supported by Creative Scotland and creates funded residencies for those working in any art form - from performing arts to music to literature- as well as offering an open programme for individuals, groups and organisations.
Last year's winner of the Mslexia Women's Poetry Competition, Helen Mort, was awarded a residency at Cove Park as part of her prize, and we are extremely pleased that this tradition has continued into 2018! The winner of our collaborative prize with Mslexia will again have the opportunity to work and stay at this beautiful place.
Distinguished alumni include author Margaret Atwood and visual artist Simon Starling. Organisations such as the Royal Opera House and Sadler’s Wells have researched and made work at Cove Park.
