Happy book birthday to another of our PBS Summer Recommendations SHINE, DARLING by Ella Frears! To celebrate its official publication yesterday our friends at the Scottish Poetry library produced a podcast interview with Ella who is a poet and visual artist based in south-east London. Ella has had poetry published in the LRB, Poetry London, Ambit, The Rialto, Poetry Daily, POEM, and the Moth among others. Her pamphlet Passivity, Electricity, Acclivity was published by Goldsmiths Press 2018. Her debut collection, Shine, Darling is published by Offord Road Books, and was officially published on 16th April, 2020. Suzannah V Evans spoke with Ella Frears at the StAnza Poetry Festival in 2019.
