Calling all poets! Nexus and the PBS are proud to launch the third annual Metro Poetry Prize to give poets the unique opportunity to have their work displayed at Longbenton Metro Station. The theme for the 2023 competition, launched on National Poetry Day, is ‘Journeys’. A winner and three runners up will see their poems published on large posters in Longbenton Metro Station, as well as a Poetry Book Society membership for the winner, and £50 Waterstones vouchers for the runners up. This year the Bloodaxe Poet Kris Johnson will be joining the Nexus Judging Panel. Entries close 11.59 on 5th November. Find out more about the prize rules here.
