The Poetry Book Society is delighted to announce the launch of a new Wild Card category for Poetry Book Society Selections. The Wild Card Choice will celebrate radical, experimental, indie and form-breaking poetry collections which might not fit within the usual PBS Selection criteria. This new venture builds upon T.S. Eliot’s legacy to ‘propagate the art of poetry’ further afield and represents our commitment to poetry in its many diverse forms. We hope to engage with producers of poetry who may not have considered submitting to the PBS in the past, while honouring our promise to members to showcase the best in contemporary poetry in all its guises. The Wild Card category will be judged by the British-born Cypriot award-winning poet, fiction writer, essayist, publisher and poetry educator, Anthony Anaxagorou.
