THE PBS GUIDE TO EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FESTIVAL

The incredible Edinburgh International Book Festival launches tomorrow on the 10th August in leafy Charlotte Square, Edinburgh, and runs until the 26th August. Here's our guide to all the unmissable PBS poets reading at the Festival this month for those of you planning a visit. PBS Summer Recommendation Jay Bernard will read from their Forward Prize shortlisted debut Surge on Friday 16th August from 8.30pm alongside Iain Morrison in an exploration of queer British experiences. The new UK Poet Laureate Simon Armitage will be reading on Saturday 17th from 11.45 am. On Sunday 18th August you can catch the electrifying performer and PBS Winter 2018 Choice Raymond Antrobus at 8.30pm. The following weekend is also full of PBS poets including a performance by our Autumn Recommendation Anthony Anaxagorou on Friday 23rd August at 7pm. For those interested in publishing in all its forms, check out EIBF's free Northern Lights conference on Saturday the 24th and Sunday 25th featuring a range of talks on Northern and Scottish publishing including a panel discussion featuring our very own MD Sophie O'Neill.
Don't forget PBS members get 25% off all book orders, so you can order your copy ahead of the crowds and get them signed at the festival.
